Dinghy Peazê

Instituto Brasil Costal - BRCostal
Arraial dAjuda, BA, / Brazil
Dinghy Peazê Dinghy Peazê

Vessel description

Dinghy Peazê is a replica inspired by the Herreshoff´s Columbia 12' and is built of Lyptus, the "noble wood of the future" marketed by Aracruz Brazil and Weyerhaeuser in Seattle. The boat will be shipped from Brazil to Port Townsend and as Luis Peazê, president/founder of the Brazilian Coastal Institute - BRCoastal, said, "it will be a dream of mine coming true" -- that is, to attend the Wooden Boat Festival. With similar enthusiasm Mr. Peazê will do several presentations throughout the weekend, for children and for adults, including one about his adventure in Australia, where he built Alvidia, a wooden 30" yacht, and then sailed her from the Tasman Sea to the Timor Sea. He will also be answering any questions you might have near his Dinghy Peazê .
