Festival activities
Everyday there are dozens of things to do, learn and experience. Distinguished as "the most education packed festival of its kind in the world" you'll find talented, innovative and engaging people at every turn. Nearly a dozen "stages" or presentation areas ensure a diverse range of boating topics and skills. Spontaneous discussions and demos are also encouraged and are key to the decades-long spirit and culture of this event. For those with more than a passion for wooden boats, we've also made sure there are creative foods, local brews, great music, spectacular art and fabulous educators who work with kids and families to build their first boats.
A PRINTED SCHEDULE IS AVAILABLE at the Main Gate entrance or in the Port Townsend Leader newspaper the week before the festival.
